Operational Training
Basic Spill Response

The aim of this course is to give participants insight in the fate and effects of oils and/ or chemicals, regulations and liability. Methods to minimize the environmental impact. Theoretical course.
Target Audience
- Government authorities, agencies and organisations in planning and response;
- Corporate Crisis Management Teams;
- Port and harbour operators;
- Ship owners or operators transporting chemicals in bulk or packages;
- Operators with bulk storage facilities for oil and chemicals;
- Oil, chemical and petrochemical companies.
Tactical Training
IMO Level 1-2 Oil Spill Response
- 2-4 days
To provide skills and knowledge necessary to be a professional member of the Incident Command Team and to effectively manage field response operations. Theoretical and practical course.
Target Audience
- Staff member of the Incident Command Team;
- On-Scene Commanders;
- Staff in charge of shoreline, offshore and aerial operations.
Strategical Training
IMO Level 2 Clearance
- 2-4 days
To be an effective and professional manager or member of an oil spill response team. Theoretical, optional practical.
Target Audience
- Managers and supervisors;
- On-scene commanders;
- Incident Command Team members;
- Environmental professionals.
Strategic/Tactical Training
IMO Level 3 Oil Spill Management
- 1-3 days
To provide an overview of oil spill response, preparedness, planning, and management issues. Theoretical, optional practical.

- Senior managers, supervisors and emergency response officials working within the oil, gas and shipping industries;
