Foru-340
The FORU-340 is the flagship of the FORU product range, designed for recovering large quantities of oil in record time (10 up to 340 m3/h). The FORU has been thoroughly tested with different types of oil at the Norwegian Coastal Administration test center in Horten, Norway. Working at maximum speed the FORU discharges up to 340 cubic meters per hour. The toxic liquid will be pumped into a storage facility such as an oil tanker, barge or bladder.

Oil spills occur daily therefore rapid response is essential to prevent damage to the environment. Foru-Solution presents the ultimate offshore solution: the new FORU-340 The FORU (Floating Oil Recovery Unit) is a unique oil recovery device, with down-draft based technology. It’s shape makes it become one with the waves (up to 2.5 meters) and ready to function under rough circumstances, maintaining its high capacity and efficiency.
The new FORU-340 is the redesigned flagship of the FORU product range, capable of recovering large quantities of oil in record time (10 up to 340 m3/h). The toxic liquid will be pumped into a storage facility such as an oil tanker, barge or bladder.
The simplicity of the design makes it easy to use, easy to maintain and easy to clean. The 100% mechanical design and the only rotating part being the pump ensures availability, even after long periods of storage.
Unmatched Characteristics
High capacity of 10 - 340 m3/h (2650 - 90,000 US gph)
